We have had consistently positive comments on our beef. The most common adjective has been "fabulous." Others have described it as more flavorful, sweet, and earthy. A few sample comments:
Before Blue Basin Beef, Joe and I used to only allow ourselves maybe 8 oz. of beef per month in our diet. You can imagine my concern when we bought a 1/4 of a cow and had much much more on hand!!-We did give some to special foodie friends as holiday gifts-they LOVED it! This beef is so delicious and lean that we have no problem eating 8oz. each a week! It truly is the best burger, pot roast, meatballs, meatloaf and steak ever!

Allow me to say there is no comparison between this dish made with grass fed beef vs. standard. The grass fed dish wins running away. The concentration of fat in the short ribs creates an amazing braising liquid that makes a very distinctive and tasty dish. I served them over pasta with a honey mustard salad and it was exceptional. Then shredded the leftovers and made a great taco filling. Sufficed to say next year I want to see if I can accumulate some more short ribs and perhaps some oxtail.

It's amazing. I often eat some of the ground beef raw, and I hardly have to put salt on it, it's so sweet and flavorful! The steaks are tender!

It pains me to admit it, but it is the best damn hamburger I have ever had in my life!

Jefferson and Cloe love our beef too!
